General Information

Twisted Whiskers Designs provides unique and colorful yarns and fiber of the highest quality.  We source all of our bases from farmers practicing environmentally friendly and humane farming (we do not support museling). 

We want your shop to have an excellent experience selling and working with Twisted Whiskers.  You customers satisfaction is very important to us.  Please refer to these terms and guidelines when placing an order.  As always, we aim to please, so do not hesitate to contact us with questions.  We want you to love working with us.

Twisted Whiskers Designs sales representative is Rachel Frank, owner and fiber artist.  She can assist your shop in ordering yarns and fibers that will thrill your customers, help you plan events to generate excitement, and is available to teach classes or workshops.  She will help you with ongoing sales and marketing support.  Please contact her for ordering and questions: 808-218-4079 CST or rachel@twistedwhiskersdesigns.com


The initial order minimum is $800 and reorder minimums are $400.


It is our goal to deliver your yarns and fiber in a timely manner.  Once an order is placed, we will contact you with an estimated delivery time.  If the delivery time changes, we will contact you as well with updated time frames.  Our goal is to deliver all yarn within 4 to 6 weeks or less of your order.  For shops located in central Texas, free delivery is available.


A deposit of 50% of the order amount is due at the time of the order.  Full payment is due when the order is complete and ready to ship.  Once shipping charges are known, Rachel will call with the final amount of the order.  Payment can be made online via PayPal, with a credit card, or if you prefer to pay with a check please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate you.  Once full payment is received we will ship the order.

If for some reason payment is nor received at the time of delivery, a 5% charge will be added to the invoice for every 30 days past the shop date.

If after 30 days from order completion payment has not been received, the order will be chaired to the credit card on file and shipped to the store.

Trunk Shows & Events

Twisted Whiskers is more than happy to help arrange a trunk show or other special event for existing customers in good standing.  A $500 commitment is required for a trunk show sales event.  Please contact us for scheduling and other information.


We are happy to offer geographically and shop exclusivity for Twisted Whiskers product for ship that make a meaningful retail commitment to the brand - we want to keep this yarn special for our retail partners. We also offer the opportunity to have custom or limited edition color ways for yarn clubs, kits, and subscription boxes.  Please call us to discuss how we can make this work for you. 

Special Orders

We are excited to honor your customer’s special order requests.  Call or email us to discuss their needs.  However, we dye yarn in small batches, most likely the yarn for your shop was all dyed at one time.  Dye lots can vary and offer over time.  Please assist your customers in choosing sufficient amounts of yarn at the time of purchase.  Special orders are not subject to reorder minimums, but availability might be limited due to inventory of un-dyed yarn and fiber.


If for any reason a customer is dissatisfied with their Twisted Whiskers purchase, please let us know.  We are happy to replace or exchange the item.  If the customer would like the product replaced, please send the original time back to us.  Once the item is received, we will replace it and return it to you at no charge.  Returns are accepted within 60 days of the original sale.

Shop Listing on Our Website

As a thank you to shop and for customer convenience, we will list your shop as a retail provider on out website if you have placed a wholesale order within the previous 12 month.

Studio & Retail

Twisted Whiskers Designs works out of a small studio in Killeen, TX with an array of Siamese cats overseeing the creative process.  We also teach a variety of classes and workshops in the areas of knitting and dyeing.  If your shop would like to have an instructional class, please contact Rachel for more information.  

Twisted Whiskers participate in a few retail fiber festivals in central Texas and are always looking to brach out.  We feel that our attendance at these events is crucial in generating buzz around new products and collections.  We want this fiber buzz to carry over to shops and enjoy checking into see what customer favorites are in the shops we have partnerships with.  Additionally, attending these events helps us see what is new and interesting in the fiber arts world and provides inspiration for new products.

We strive to create a fun and collaborative relationship with our retail partner, designers, and fiber festivals.  Twisted Whiskers Designs aims to inspire, motivate, and encourage fiber artists through partnerships with wonderful businesses and independent designers.  Together we can drive sales and create a wonderful customer experience.
